A Roar of Awakening!

There was a mama tiger, ready to give birth. But in that hour of her birthing the mama tiger died. She left a beautiful cub with no one to care for it. The cub was found by a herd of sheep. The sheep raised the cub. The cub ran like a sheep, ate what the sheep ate and even sounded like a sheep. One day another tiger cub came roaring through the pack of sheep. The sheep ran. The sheep-cub stood in awe because this animal looked like him, but it did not walk, run nor sound like him. The new cub asked the sheep-cub, "why do you sound like that? And why do you run, like that? You are a tiger, not a sheep". The sheep-cub said, "No, YOU are mistaken, I am a sheep". The cub had a fresh kill and so he said, "here, eat this meat". The sheep --cub took a bite, he slowly chewed but as he tried to swallow, he begin to choke. Soon, his sharp teeth begin to cut and tear and he swallowed with ease. He opened his mouth to tell the cub how good it was and out came a roar! It was not loud, nor was it fierce but it was a Roar of Awakening! It was in this moment that he realized...he was a tiger!

A man or woman's perspective is his reality! As we live, we must let go of self-limiting personalities. Self-limiting personas will make you void the life to be if you don't move beyond the life known. We see ourselves according to life around us. Where and how we were raised, educated, hurt, abandoned, loved, or not loved. That is our reflection of the man in the mirror. Examine that man not through the eyes of others but through who you KNOW you are which is already planted inside of you.

You can choose to be different. You may have to have someone show up and give you meat (reality). You may even do it by taking baby steps. Just remember; baby steps taken consistently, will still get you up the mountain!
